I've decided to retire this blog as my primary one, and use the one I opened at LJ instead. I'm still bugged by the things I'm bugged about (namely, no non-Vox commenting, and no cut tags), but this shall remain my photo repository. I really need to consolidate my various online identities - I mean, I can't remember what my Twitter account password is, and that should tell me something.

So my boss was saying, maybe we ought to do some kind of blessing ceremony for the new office.

The new office is hellaciously cold though.

And look, I didn't forget about my crocheting at all!

I need to remember to put up the instructions for Cindy's scarf, which I designed myself. OMG, so proud! It's just a simple scarf, but for the middle part with the raised treble stitch. Also, omg, she's going to Australia! I've yet to do something really for myself though. The hat is actually for Haz, and the arm stockings were for my mum.

The only morning show worth listening to these days is Red FM's. The djs are smart, witty AND actually talk about what's happening in the world, and not about the endless stupid male v female 'discussions' or punking hapless people.

Even if they have to be so berkias-kias like orang nak masuk meminang. XD

• The Urge to End it All - a very interesting NYT article about suicide. From the Mefi post (read it for the personal anecdotes) about it, I found The Bridge, a docu about the Golden Gate Bridge, apparently the most popular suicide destination in the world.
• Supposedly a rejected 'The Dark Knight' script written by Michael Bay. XD And somehow from there, I found this incredibly informative (that as a result, is also incredibly hilarious) post on the Criterion Collection DVD version of Armageddon.

1. I've rediscovered point-and-click games - needed something that wouldn't needlessly abuse my 'z' and 'x' buttons on the keyboard. (thanks shu!) Of course, I still need walkthroughs, but am proud to say that I only need them as the occasional reference? Currently am working through Submachines. Summation of my geekery: in preparation for replaying Submachine 2, I redrew my map of the sewers in proper grid format, complete with shaded cells. Needless to say, I am very proud of myself.
Recs:
Aztec's escape games - it's actually a series, with one totally random cat, lasers and GIANT ROBOTS.
Takagism's Crimson Room and Viridian Room - I think this was among the first that I played.
Neutral's rooms - Next to Submachines, I love Neutral's rooms. Vision is awwwwwwwwesome.
MOTAS (Mystery of Time and Space) - I remember this well. THIS GAME ATE MY LIFE
